With over 25 years of experience representing professional athletes, Bill Duffy is one of the most successful and respected agents in professional sports. In 1998, Bill founded BDA Sports Management, a full service firm providing clients with high quality career management and the tools necessary to enhance personal growth and achievement. With each client, he focuses on individual needs and long term career planning. Bill assembled a knowledgeable staff so that each client receives unmatched personal attention and guidance.
BDA currently represents more than 35 NBA players, including 20 plus first round picks and over 45 professional basketball players overseas. BDA clients include Yao Ming, Steve Nash, and Greg Oden along with Tayshaun Prince and Rajon Rondo, among others.
A basketball player himself, Bill competed at the collegiate level at the University of Minnesota and Santa Clara University and was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the 1982 NBA Draft. Bill graduated from Santa Clara University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Humanities and was a District Eight Academic All-American and Santa Clara’s 1982 Scholar/Athlete of the Year.
Bill was named the first ever inductee of the Damien High School Hall of Fame (La Verne, CA) and to the Santa Clara University Hall of Fame. Recently, he was selected to the Martin Luther King Jr. International Board of Renaissance Leaders at Morehouse College. Additionally, Bill has received numerous accolades for his professional achievements and philanthropic endeavors.
Bill and his wife Jamese live in Walnut Creek, California with their five children.
