Bulls’ Joakim Noah helps kids with back to school gear

With the first day of school right around the corner, several NBA players have been making sure children in the city they play in, are properly prepared. John Wall, Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge have each provided school supplies to dozens of children and in Chicago, Joakim Noah recently hosted his own back to school event.

Noah took over 40 kids from his Noah’s Arc Foundation on a back to school shopping spree at a Chicago area Kids Foot Locker.

Helping to curb violence in Chicago and charitable acts of kindness like this, is a big reason why Noah won the 2014-15 J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award. However just look at Noah smiling and relaxing in a tank top and shorts. Noah is not doing this for any awards, he genuinely wants to help. Which is exactly what he did for these kids in Chicago.
