Biography

Andrew Betts averaged 7.9 points and 5.2 rebounds in 42 Spanish League games last season with DKV Joventut. He helped Joventut to make it to the Spanish League semifinals for the first time since 1997, as well as winning the FIBA Europe Cup. Betts has also played for Tau Ceramica and Real Madrid in Spain, AEK in Greece, as well as for Reggio Emilia and Fortitudo in Italy. He helped Real Madrid to win the Spanish League, and also won the Greek Cup with AEK in 2001 and the Spanish King's Cup with Tau, the same team he helped to make it all the way of the Euroleague final in the 2004-05 season.
 
Played college basketball at C.W. Post University (1994-97) and later at Long Beach State University (1997-98). Andrew was selected in the 1998 NBA Draft by Charlotte Hornets (#50). Named to the 1998 Porthsmouth Invitational Tournament All-Tournament Team, named to the 1998 First Team All-Big West Conference selection, named to the 1996 Second Team All-New York City Athletic Conference. Hehas been member of the English Junior National team, member of the English National Team and played at the World University Games.
