Marketing & Public Relations Manager 

Jody Evans joined BDA Sports Management in May of 2007.

Prior to joining BDA Sports Jody worked for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2006-2007 NBA Season. During her time with the Lakers, Jody facilitated player and media interactions, handled numerous PR requests, aided in the execution of community events such as NBA Care’s Read to Achieve, and assisted with the nomination of Lakers coach Phil Jackson into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

At BDA, Jody’s responsibilities include fielding various media inquiries, creating PR and publicity opportunities, organizing and promoting player appearances, writing and disseminating press releases, as well as assisting in market research, plan development and presentation, website management, and orchestrating trading card signings.  Jody assists in the development of each athlete’s unique brand and helps players reach their full potential off the court by aiding in their community relations initiatives. 

Jody graduated from the University of Southern California where she received her Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Sports Communications.  While at USC, she studied public relations, journalism, communications and health promotions.  Jody was a member of the USC Sports Business Association and competed on the USC Competition Cheer Team.
