Thompson has averaged 18.3 points per game since the trade, polishing his still in-the-works game to be more than just a pure shooter with great range. He’s shooting 44 percent from the floor and 42 percent from beyond the arc this season.

Klay Thompson sat facing his locker, deep in thought and still wearing his Warriors uniform. He leaned back and slowly began pantomiming a shooting motion as he took imaginary jump shots from his seat, one after another.
