Warriors’ Thompson Making Run at Rookie Honors

Thompson has averaged 18.3 points per game since the trade, polishing his still in-the-works game to be more than just a pure shooter with great range. He’s shooting 44 percent from the floor and 42 percent from beyond the arc this season.

The Warriors brain trust, especially coach Mark Jackson, has raved about swingman Klay Thompson since training camp. The rookie has done nothing but warrant more praise from his bosses.

Klay Thompson’s best games have family ties

The Warriors should consider flying in one of Klay Thompson’s family members for the rest of his games this season.

It took all of one practice, and Warriors head coach Mark Jackson was ready to make a lofty proclamation about rookie Klay Thompson:
